Baby #20: "I'm a real girl!"

Since Charlie and Bella had just grown up into Young Adults,

it was time for them to head off to city hall to graduate.

Bellatrix was the valedictorian of the class, and Charlie was voted Most Popular.

 I believe it was Annika who was starving behind them, but she's okay, promise.

Here are the headshots I neglected to put in the last post.

 Here's our little Charlie, all grown up.

Sadly, after they graduated, Bella and Charlie did have to leave. I'll miss them. D:

Shane loved Cara pretty much more than anything else.

Even though she wasn't real to anyone else, they were best friends.

But soon enough, she'd be a member of the family just like the rest of them.

You see, Ana is a whiz with the Chemistry set, and since all Shane ever talked about was his "friend" Cara, she whipped up this potion to see if what he was talking about was true.

And you know, Shane gave it to Cara.

 And it seemed to be very true - Cara sprang to life.

Her dark skin, bright eyes, and green hair were enough to set her apart from any Sim in Sunset Valley, not to mention the Vanderbilt household.

 Cara loved being a real girl. She could do real girl things without anyone thinking Shane was just a freak.

 The baby, Marissa, was nearing the time to be a toddler, so Ana arranged just a small family gathering so Bella and Charlie could see their littlest sister grow up.

 Aww. Marissa got Ryder's green eyes, but Ana's altered hair color.

It was a late night, but that didn't deter Lina and Annika from wanting their nightly bedtime story.

 Annika immediately claimed Ryder, since he makes the best faces telling stories.

 It didn't matter to Lina, though, because Ana was good enough.

It was at least 1 in the morning by the time everyone was in bed.

Everyone, that is, except Ana and Marissa.

 Marissa didn't like to sleep at night, so Ana tried entertaining her until early morning.

Obviously, she wasn't too impressed.

 By the time Ana got around to making all the beds in the morning, she found Lina and Annika skipping school.

So, you know, she yelled at them and sent them on her way.

Annika got the worst of it, since Lina was smart enough to run for the door as soon as she could.

 And Ana spent nearly the entire day teaching Marissa how to talk.

She learned pretty quickly though, and finished in just the one day.

Single births are so easy.

 Well, at least Ana had one good child - Shane immediately sat down with Cara to do his homework when he got home that night. He must have sensed Ana's foul mood.

 If there was anything that could get Ana out of a mood, though, it was Ryder.

As soon as he'd get home every day he'd just waltz in a smack a big kiss right on her.

And, you know, she loved it.

 And went from angry face to this.

Aww, lookitthemtheyresocute.

 And to be honest, Ryder was all Ana really thought of.

When she was just doing things around the house, she thought about the wedding, and how much she loved him, and all of that mushy crap.

- It's not mushy crap! D:

Yeaaaaaah it is. (:

- ... I love him okay? >_>

 More birthdays- Cara and Shane were going to be moody teens, oh joyous day.

 Shane!
He's a pretty good looking boy, I gotta say.

 Cara has a nice face on her too. (:

Well, would you look at that.

Doctor Winfield here got a nice promotion. ;D

 And you know, the prospect of marrying a hot doctor would get anyone in a baby making mood.

So of course, Ana and Ryder each selected new hair colors and got on with it.

 Since Ana's sister had red hair, she'd always wondered what it was like, so she tried that out.

 Ryder went for a cool black, blue, and green look.

 Ana thought she was lookin' pretty fine.

 Unfortunately, duty calls, and Ryder has to leave right after the baby making to save some lives. :/

 But that's okay! We see the success of the night in Ana's vomiting!

 Ana the handywoman here has to fix everything, since Ryder works all the time.

It sucks, since she has to vomit, fix stuff...

 And you know, go vomit again.

Uh, gross mom...

 High school was treating Cara and Shane well.

And of course, sooner rather than later, it was about prom time again.

Shane took Cara over to show her Bella and Charlie's prom pictures.

You know, since it was an opportunity.

 ... To ask her to go with him.

She said yes, without a doubt - they were best friends! 

 "Good, because I don't know what I would have done with these if you said no."
Shane said, whipping out a beautiful yellow bouquet.

 Shane knew Cara thought he was oh so cute at the moment, as well, so he also asked her out right there. xD
She said yes to that too - he was sweet. It was cute.

 And those two spent the night chillin' under the stars.

 Ana was being much more productive by playing on the waterslide.

 Until the baby started kicking her to tell her to stop, that is.

To be a doctor, you have to be a pretty logical person.

To get logical, you play Chess.

Ryder kept challenging everyone to the house to a game, especially Lina and Annika.

 "Dad, this is making me tired, can I go now?"

Ana came up and relieved Annika's position as Ryder's challenger.

 "You know I'm going to beat you, right?" Ana knew her logic was much superior to that of her fiance.

"Pssh, yeah, okay." Ryder laughed this off, not taking her as much of a competition.

I mean, he had no way of knowing.

 After getting his ass handed to him a few times, Ryder conceded and bowed down to Ana's superior skills and was officially turned off to Chess for a while.

But, you know, he still loved babies.

 Inside Ana's belly or out.

 Cara took a deep breath and stared herself down the in the mirror, making sure there was nothing else to be done to make her more perfect than she looked tonight.

 By the look in his eyes, you could tell Shane didn't think she could look any better.

 Cara and Shane were the cutest couple at prom, according to all of the gossip going around town.

Now, some of you may have noticed that Lina and Annika haven't been as particularly close as other sets of twins that Ana has had.

They mostly only talked to their imaginary friends.

 But while Shane and Cara were away, Lina broke that barrier.

Sure, she talked about her imaginary friend, but Annika was the only person who ever believed her about it.

 This pleased Ana to no end, even if she didn't really believe in imaginary friends.

She never had one, so she wouldn't know.

 Annika and Lina finally started bonding, pillow fighting with each other now instead of seemingly the air.

It's probably the cutest thing ever.

Yup, Ana waited until her teens got home from prom to go into labor this time.

It's much more convenient that way.

 As usual, everyone was freaking out - but oddly enough, Ryder was too, until he got the sense to go inside. xD

 I don't know why Ana looks so unimpressed, because she definitely loves this baby boy:
