Baby, just say yes.

There once was a beautiful baby girl, by the name of Gloria Vanderbilt.
She wasn't any ordinary kid, no. Gloria was the start of something new.
Gloria was the beginning of her mother, Anastasia's whole new life.
After baby number one, our beautiful little Gloria, there was no going back.

Now, presently, Gloria is a teenager.
But not for long.
While her mother was at the hospital, welcoming baby Ashton to the family, Gloria took the liberty of aging herself up.

Gloria was a gorgeous young adult. She looks a lot like Ana, except for her gorgeous chestnut brown hair.

Now, Gloria's path in life was now determined off of a whim she had to visit her neighbors, the Altos.
She was always friendly, so no shockers there.

This here was the shocker.
Victor Shapiro had apparently also moved in with the Altos.
The Altos were the most obvious Italian gangsters ever.
I mean, have you ever LOOKED at Nick?
Victor had been sent buy his father, Vince Shapiro, to live with the Altos.
Why, you ask?
So he could be just as nasty as them.
Not quite the honest family business you'd want to be part of.

"So, what brings you to Sunset Valley?" the ever-social Gloria chirped.
"Ehh..." Victor shied away from the question. "Business..."
Since he took an immediate shining to Gloria, Victor didn't want to ruin his chances, right?

However, Gloria's kind nature had him hooked.
Their conversation went from noon til dark, in which time Victor became enamored.
Victor quickly trusted Gloria and explained the whole story.

"So... don't do it." Gloria whispered softly.
Victor was taken aback.
"He'll kill me."
"You'll be fine. We'll be fine."

And of course, she went in for the kill.
"I gotta go." Gloria was slightly embarrassed.
"When can I see you again?" He never wanted to let her go.

"Soon." She kissed him again and ran home.

MEANWHILE...

... Caspian stood around making awesome faces.
- None of them evil...
*facepalm* We were doing so well, this post, with you keeping your mouth shut...
- My bad.

After several little dates here and there, Gloria asked Victor to come to the beach right behind the house with her. It was the most beautiful spot she knew of. No wonder she picked it.

I love you.
It was pure bliss all around.
Now, it had only been a short month the two had known each other, but it didn't matter.
Each felt like they had known the other their entire lives.
There were no secrets between Gloria and Victor.
It was love, and Gloria knew it.

Now, let's just remember a few things about Gloria.
One, she is brave.
Two, she gets what she wants.

"Hang on, just one second."

"Victor Shapiro, I love you. And I need you. I can't go on without you. And I can't wait to be your wife, so I won't have to spend another second without you. We don't need your father, the Altos, or that business. Just you and me. That's all I'll ever need."

After a long pause, Victor nodded and replied with,
"I'm just mad you beat me to it," with a smile.

*~*

Of course, some preparation was needed for the wedding.
Of course, Ana did best for the bride-to-be.
Gloria was an absolute bombshell on her wedding day, that's for sure.

You're all I'll ever need.
The wedding was to be in two days, at the beach.
Two days because some birthdays needed to be had at the Vanderbilt household!

First Phoenix.

Then Ashton.

Still, most of the excitement in the house came from Ana and Gloria, both of whom were very excited about the wedding coming up.

*~*

Flash forward to the wedding night.
It would take place on the beach, although a different one than Gloria proposed on.

A small crowd gathered to watch the ceremony.
Notice that James Phalon, Caspian's dad, showed up, but Cowman himself couldn't make an appearance.

This is why you don't bring toddlers to weddings.

Mr. And Mrs. Vanderbilt. <3

*~*
Ana reacted as any good mother should.

"You go girl!"

Ana's good friend Morgana Wolff forgot her camera, but pretended anyway.

The Wicked Witch of Sunset Valley
... And Vita Alto was definitely not okay with Victor being happy.
She got very ugly in the process. o.o
Caspian could take evil lessons from her though.
- ;-;

*~*

You know how wedding nights go.

*~*

Gloria is finally happy and has everything she deserves, so it's time to move on.

"Congratulations, honey. Don't lose touch, okay?"
Ana was actually very genuine for once.
It really brought her to tears that her first baby was not a baby anymore.
In fact, she'd probably have babies of her own soon.

Gloria and Victor left the house hand in hand, on their way to start lives of their own.

Baby #6: Flowers, Fights, and Fires.

It was time again for another birthday at the Vanderbilt house. It was Phoenix's turn to become a child.
- They grow up too fast... *sob*

Phoenix seemed to get bluer with age.
His eyes definitely had a very unique shape, which weren't specific to either his mother or father.
The hair - well, he picked the cut himself. He thought it brought out his inner bird.
Of course, he stayed the happy-go-lucky little guy he'd been throughout his toddler years.

Caspian seemed to be good, too, up to this point anyway.
He loved Chloe and never even tried to steal her candy. Yet.
- He won't. He won't he won't he won't.
Denial... it's kinda sad, Ana...

Chloe was actually a big hit with both of her brothers.
Phoenix and she remained very close even through his age transition.

Ana was ready to make some changes herself.
After 5 babies, she was feeling in need of a makeover.
Sure, she knew she was still gorgeous, but she wanted something new.
- Something more me.

She decided on this new hairstyle.
It gave her a sultry new look while not being too different from before.
- Well, I wanted the kids to still recognize me!

The kids were still really everything to Ana.
She never minded getting up at odd hours to a screaming baby anymore.
-It feels right. (:

Well, obviously you've done a good job, Ana.
Even though Caspian is evil as all get out, he still knows how to clean up.
- *proud mama moment*

This new outfit was also necessary for Ana to have with changing her hair as well.
It was a little more mom-ish while still being in style.

Child Phoenix loves Ana too much.
"I was just thinking of you, Ma. Love you!" he'd said with a hug.
- He's just the sweetest. He came out of nowhere! I love that boy.

Chloe was a total mama's girl - she'd always ham it up.
- They're all so charming. :'D

Caspian continued to paint.

While Phoenix dominated the block table and took a liking to the pool.

Phoenix got out of his beloved pool to watch his baby sister grow into a toddler along with Gloria and Caspian. They all seemed super excited.

Evangeline turned out beautifully.
She seemed to get nothing from her father.
She is the first and only child thus far in Ana's challenge to receive her hair.
The eyes are also Ana's trademark sparkling blue.
- Perhaps we have a little minime on our hands? *smirk*

Ana spent a lot of time pondering her lifetime wish, which is to be surrounded by family.
She'd often zone out in the nursery surrounded by her children, taking in how surreal it all was.
- I'd always wanted to be a mother, but I never thought it would be like this. I always dreamed of the white picket fence, and two and a half children. 100 is much more suitable.
Deep, Ana, really deep.

"Ah ah ah. Don't you dare cry."

All smiles once again! (:

Ana adored her little minime. But now that she was a toddler, it was time to get a move on with the next baby.

Now, you see, Calvin Cheville's (Chloe's father) house was just on the way to the park where Ana was going to find her next father. He'd asked for her to come over so she could update him on Chloe once in a while, since Caspian had threatened him to never come over again.

What she didn't expect to find was Calvin's brand new hippie of a roommate, Steve Higgins.
(Thanks penskii!)

So, you know, why not?
Ana flirted with Steve, who was very receptive.
"You're almost as beautiful as Mother Nature, Anastasia..."
- Okay, so he's a bit loony about nature...

... But of course, Calvin came home and was very obviously unimpressed.
He still had a bit of a thing for Ana.
- Awk-ward...

Of course, that problem was easily solved.
- He was really impressed with my car. You know, eco-friendly and all.
You sure know how to woo 'em.

A kiss to seal the deal...

... And some flowery boxers to comply with Ana's weird fetish.
- -_-
(:

"Thanks for your, uh, contribution, Steve."

The nausea set in quickly this time. Grossssssss.
- Would you mind, maybe, not taking pictures of me while I'm barfing my guts out?
Yeah, I really would.

Phoenix really lived up to the "Good" trait he'd been assigned.
Complimenting his sister on her musical talent was just something he'd do randomly.
"Seriously, you're like a guitar god, Glory."
"Awh, thanks!"
Phoenix had always been her favorite brother.

"How're you doing in school?"
Gloria was Good too. They were practically best friends, Gloria and Phoenix.
Sad face...

Happy face!

Chloe, she'd mostly just sit around being cute.
- She does a damn good job!

But one day...

TERROR STRUCK.

Let me break it down for you.
Chloe + Candy^happy=Caspian-Candy^unhappy.

But now, we take the candy away from Chloe, and add it to Caspian, ending up with a very happy (and very evil) Caspian.

And one very unhappy baby girl.
- Oh. Oh gosh. I never thought he'd do it. NEVER. *wails*
This is such a great I-told-you-so moment.
- He-
Don't interrupt, enjoying it.

...
...
I'm good.

But, he must have a soul (ish) because he did console her.

She's gotta think about it, a lot.
But Chloe Vanderbilt hereby learned how to go potty on her own!
-Sayonara, diapers! :'D

Mini Ana, being very vociferous, expressed her want to learn just like Chloe how to use the potty.

So she did.

After a quick lunch of PB&J, Ana finished teaching Chloe how to walk and talk.

- She was so shocked she could do it... :'D IT'S SO CUTE.

Then came the quality time Ana made sure to spend with all of her kids.

Shocker Alert: Caspian... on a nice streak?
Caspian decided it was time to get close with Gloria.
Of course, Gloria would be moving out soon anyway, so Caspian wouldn't have to be nice much longer.

In fact, he gave up the act about 5 minutes later.

 Day One.

Warning: There will be a barrage of cute immediately following these words.
If you find babies adorable as it is, you may want to click away for your own safety.

*~*

*~*

Unfortunately, it was then time for our beautiful toddler Chloe to become a child.
- Notice the bus in the background?
- The kids were almost late for school because they wanted to watch their baby sister grow up. :'D
-She'll soon be on that bus with them... It's too much! *sobsob*

Chloe was also an adorable little girl, but I'll miss her as a toddler.

The rest of that night was quite uneventful, but that's okay, because the next day was full of surprises.

*~*

To this day, I don't know who left the hotdogs on the grill.
- Wasn't me. I SWEAR.

Gloria is a Brave girl, so she immediately jumped into action.
-She saved our LIVES.
And look, she almost caught on fire in the process! D:
- ;;

Take in the scene for a moment.
Anastasia is freaking out in the background, while her two teenage children have this look on their faces that say, "We got this."
Way to be the adult, Ana.
- Fire is scary okay.

This firefighter was obviously disappointed that two teenage children can do his job better than he can, as Gloria and Caspian put out the fire themselves before he could. He kind of... roared.

The family tried to recoup by having a nice, not flammable autumn salad for dinner.
Phoenix went on and on about how girls don't need to wear makeup because they're naturally pretty.
- Such. A. Sweetheart.

Ana was exhausted from the excitement, so she got her preggo-swag on and headed off to bed right after dinner.

Ana had nightmares about the fire that night.
What if she lost her house?
What if she'd lost a child?

Those thoughts were quickly pushed to the back of her mind by labor.
She headed off to the hospital, entrusting Gloria and Caspian with the other children's care.

It's a boy! Ashton Vanderbilt.
He is named after the Ash tree, because of his father's love for nature.
Conveniently enough, he was born loving the outdoors as well. (:
