Baby #5: Standoffs, birthdays, and hobbies galore!

Calvin accompanied Ana and the new baby, Chloe, back home.

Anastasia, of course spent time doting on her new baby girl...

- Look at her! She's gorgeous! :'D

"Smooth as a baby's behind..." Calvin muttered.

... While Calvin ...freshened up?

- Yeah... he's kind of... a girly man...

I see that.

 Even with Calvin around, promising to help, it was only Ana and Gloria who were even giving the baby a glance.

- He's a Mooch, apparently. Gross. Poor Chloe, her father just... sucks.

At least he's cute.

- That's ALL he's got.

True.

Caspian, of course, was not very impressed with Calvin's laziness.

"I don't like you. I don't like this. I hereby declare you my Arch Nemesis! You're a Mooch and you're a lazy JERK. You better leave now, and don't EVER come back!"

Caspian didn't like it when anyone walked all over his mom and sister.

Only he could do that.

- Awh, my baby, defending mommy's honor... *dotes*

Calvin was very obviously offended from this face he made.

- *laughs* Oh, he's such a wimp...

|D

"Oh yeah? Well... I uh, really like your house. SO THERE."

Calvin really wasn't much of a fighter.

- *snort*

When Gloria heard all the commotion, she came out and told Calvin that he'd better leave.
"Caspian is serious, you know. He WILL make you pay."

Calvin, never liking the idea of paying, booked it out of there pretty quickly.

"Thanks, sis."

Even though Caspian was pretty evil at times, he still really loved his mom and sister.

- See? He's great okay.
Eh.

Ana had slept through all of the drama between her baby boy and Calvin, but once she got up, she of course spent even more time with Caspian.
"Mom... what's going on?"

"Well, you see, that guy's getting open heart surgery. I just can't figure out why Michael Meyers is performing it..."

They tried to figure out the latest Halloween movie. Caspian will only watch horror movies, so he can learn how to torture people. It makes sense, right?

- No no no. He's a boy. He just likes gore because he's a boy.

Ana. He's EVIL. Are you ever going to accept it?

- *sadface* No...

 - Gloria is going to be an amazing mother some day, hm? I'll take all of the credit for that, thank you very much.

She really is. Uh, good job.

- Oh thanks. (:

Phoenix was a very smart toddler, and learned his skills very quickly.

Each one of Ana's kids seemed to steal her heart at this stage in their lives.

Since she was pretty much with them all the time, they each became very attached and loved her just the same.

But, again, Gloria was a little different...

Ana and Gloria's relationship wasn't visibly strained.

They loved each other all the same.

They just never talked. Never interacted.

Ana really did want to try to fix it.

- Well, she's my first child. She's always going to be that special one, that helped me kick off on this amazing journey. Aw, don't let me get all nostalgic now...

Step one in relationship repair time: Ana cleaned the nasty toilet herself, instead of subjecting Gloria to it once again. It's really a good start.

- I really feel bad that she ever thought she had to do it. It's awful, seriously.

In fact, Ana even told Gloria to take the guitar for herself.

Gloria was a natural, and had decided that in her lifetime, her goal would be to master the guitar and charisma skills. She would whip out the guitar all the time, just to play her own tunes she made up.

- She even uses it in the nursery, and plays Phoenix and Chloe lullabies. It's really sweet of her.

Ana used another big chunk of her inheritance redoing the nursery.

Since this had been her uncle's house, and his wife wasn't much of a decorator, it needed a huge facelift.

This would also be the most important room in the house, since all of the children would have to stay in there for a good chunk of their lives.

The wildlife theme was a big hit with the kids.

- They all really love animals. Hopefully they can have their own eventually.

 Gloria's niche was guitar, and Caspian proved to be a natural with the paintbrush.

- He drew our home first thing. Isn't that cute? :'D

Adorable.

Ana took her boys out later in the night to the park.

Gloria wanted to stay home, since she needed to do her homework, so she offered to babysit.

- She really is such a sweetheart...

On the way home, Ana met this interesting fellow who called himself Bleu Beauregard.

It'd be inappropriate to make a move with her kids around, so she promised to meet up with him later.

The three went home shortly after they met Bleu.

Potty training took a little longer.

The perfect end of the day, for Anastasia: putting a peaceful baby to sleep, and then getting some rest herself.

Of course, the next day was going to be a big day for both Chloe and Ana.

Chloe's birthday! The days flew by, and it was time for our baby girl to become a toddler.

Caspian and Gloria were almost late for school because they wanted to celebrate!

And Chloe grew up...

... to be the most positively adorable toddler ever.

She had gotten her father's tinted green skin tone and dark green hair.

Chloe, like three of her siblings before her, inherited Anastasia's beautiful blue eyes.

She was a gorgeous combination of her parents.

At first, Phoenix and Chloe didn't seem to want to play together. Phoenix went straight for his favorite Ken doll while Chloe zoomed the rocketship around.

Phoenix also spent a good amount of time with his teddy, whom he had aptly named "Fuzzyface."

Upon seeing Phoenix so happy with his bear, Gloria reminisced about her childhood with her panda bear Sammy. After all, she was going to be a young adult soon.

Ana spent whatever leisure time she had in her garden.

Remember the separation between Phoenix and Chloe earlier?
Well, they fixed that problem, and soon became inseparable.

They both loved the block table.

Chloe also decided it would only be fair to try out the doll house. She found that she enjoyed it a lot.

- Awh, they're going to be best friends. Forever! :'D

Phoenix also tried out the rocketship, and loved it as well.

But the Vanderbilt household must never go too long without a baby in it, so Ana invited Bleu over and got right to the point.
"Me, you, my bedroom, now. It's baby time."

At least she got over the stigma of letting the guys know what they'd been getting themselves into, right?

Bleu was apparently fine with her proposal, and helped her make baby number five.

Ana dreamed about taking out the trash, which could have honestly meant kicking out Bleu.

He just stood there in zebra print and leather-bound package glory.

And in the middle of the night, early pregnancy struck. Hard.

- I. Hate. Puking.

- This is so much more me.

Chloe wasn't much of a walker yet. She'd always sit down and look cute instead of trying.

But Ana didn't mind a bit. She really adored Chloe, and loved every bit of the process.

Nausea strikes again.

- Gross.

But hey, at least she was pregnant, and it wasn't just a bad burrito.

 Just a little baby bump.

The garden's coming along nicely.

- Too much work. Like I don't have enough to do already...

Our favorite little devil was about to become a bigger little devil.

Caspian's birthday party!

It was of course ruined by Ana going into labor. Caspian just kept celebrating as Gloria freaked out.

- Poor Caspian.

Caspian grew up after Ana left for the hospital. :c

He turned out to be pretty good looking,even though he's still definitely evil.

- D:

MEANWHILE, AT THE HOSPITAL...

Cycl0n3 Sw0rd freaks out about Ana's labor.

Emma Hatch and Connor Frio have a standoff outside.

And Bleu Beauregard shows up, obviously excited about the pending arrival of his son or daughter.

And it's a girl! Presenting baby number five, Evangeline Vanderbilt.

She didn't inherit her father's skintone... Will she get anything else?
