Babies 7&8: Presidential Babies?

Since Gloria had moved out, Anastasia had gotten really nostalgic. She called her almost neurotically, making sure she was alright and Victor was treating her well.

- She's my baby girl, aight?

You're getting a little ghetto there, Ana. You okay?

-All good, homes.

So, Ana went to visit her. Only a couple days after she'd moved out.

- She helped me a lot... and I just miss her okay. ;;

Watch out. Your motherliness is showing.

"You look good... How's Victor?"

"It's been two days, Mom."

"Right..."

They had a moment. :'D

Back at home, Ashton was being taken care of by his favorite brother, Caspian.

Caspian really loved Ashton, too. They were seriously best friends.

- He'll be a good daddy. Look at him with Ashton! So cute!

Right.

- He didn't even teach Ashton about evil things!

Yeah. And "bench" is a very important word for toddlers to know. *nodnod*

- My boys... <3

I guess Caspian can be gentle if he wants.

Anastasia went to visit Gloria again a few days later, but only her husband Victor was home.

They had a nice chat about his ambitions in journalism before Ana decided to leave.

But on her way home, Ana noticed that Gloria had a new neighbor.

He's next. Ana thought.

"Wanna ba-ba!" Ashton wailed pitifully.

"YES! SUFFER, BABY, SUFFER!"
Caspian reveled in Ashton's misfortune until he remembered that this is the child he actually liked.

He proceeded to give his favorite sibling a bottle before proceeding to BIRTHDAY TIME.

What? Caspian's wish, you ask?

I hope to make a lot of people unhappy. Besides Ashton. I love HIM.

Hear that, Ana? YOU aren't even an exception!

- He meant his whole family. I think...

Here comes young adulthood!

- My baby boy... is leaving me... *wails*

Caspian, of course, grew into a good looking guy.

- Like all of my kids will. :'D

Of course, Ana loved her baby boy and told him he could stay another night or two, so he could find a job and a house, and spend more time with Ashton.

Now, in Gloria's house... Maybe some Grand-erbilts in the making?

Caspian did go and find a job, in the evil career path.

He then trolled on some forums. Charming.

 Man, did he love that boy.

"But, Ashton, if the COPS come after you, you run. Okay? Run."

Maybe he did teach him a few evil things.

-Oh come on. He said bullies. Not cops.

Sure.

He even took care of the poo. :'D

"Mmm, Imma get me some. Er. A baby."

This is Americus Patriot.

In case you haven't noticed, he loves America.

His hair and outfit prove it.

- And his awesome face paint.

Oh, I didn't notice it. e.e

- No need to be nasty, jeez.

... Right down to the patriotic package.

- Again. Nasty.

It had to be said.

When Caspian isn't spending time with Ashton, he trips over air. c:

I've noticed that Anastasia looks very intelligent when she's running to the bathroom to vomit.

Satisfying every time.

- I hate you.

I know. (:

So, I haven't documented Chloe's childhood very well, but she's becoming a teenager now anyway.

Chloe grew into a gorgeous and unique teen. She bears a lot of resemblance to her father besides those eyes that seem to be a signature of the Vanderbilt children.

After Chloe's birthday, it was time for Caspian to move out.

"Love you Mom!" He said in the sweetest voice he could muster.

And of course, Ana melted. She loves that boy too much.

Since Ana has now lost her first two children, she really needed to connect with Gloria again.

She still felt a bit guilty about Gloria's trying childhood, so she needed to keep touch.

I'm sure this isn't what she expected.
"Gloria! Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"You know, busy busy!" she said with a smile.

"You gotta tell me this. Boy or girl?" Ana asked while rubbing Gloria's bump.
Gloria paused before coming out with this news: "They're girls."
"THEY?!" Ana couldn't contain her excitement.
"Twins, Mom."
Ana literally almost cried, while Gloria just beamed down at her.
"Do you have names picked out?"
"Well, of course. But I can't ruin the surprise!"

 Ana was obviously miffed that her own daughter wouldn't tell her the names, but she was too excited to be upset.
"Grandma loves you!" she cooed to Gloria's swollen tummy.

Caspian had also come back over, and he preferred to hang out with Ashton still.
It was okay that Phoenix was there, but Ashton was the main attraction.

After Ana finally stopped cooing over Gloria's belly, Chloe wanted to spend some time with her. They'd been close in their younger years.
"I just can't figure out who the murderer is." Chloe stared hard at the screen, trying to figure out this episode of Criminal Minds.
"It's always the one you least expect... I bet it was Mr. Rogers." Gloria cracked the joke with a completely serious face.
This sent them both into a serious fit of laughter.
"Ah, I crack myself up. But I should be careful about it - I don't want to go into labor on the couch."

While Gloria and Chloe continued to bond, Phoenix just kind of creeped behind the bonsai tree. Freak.
- He's obviously just watching TV. Don't judge him.
The TV's off, genius.
- ... Oh.

Before she went home the next morning, Gloria whipped out that beautiful Dulcinea guitar Ana let her keep and serenaded her family with a new ballad she'd learned during her time off.

Evangeline also needed to learn some words. And safety.
"Fire is BAD, okay?" Ana was still very obviously scarred by the incident.
- It was scary. ;-;

Anyway, Evangeline learned to walk and talk quite quickly.

Ana was looking pretty big for it only being her first day of pregnancy.
She'd never had multiples before this, but it looked like a possibility this time around.

Huh. Well, it looks like we know who to blame for any future fires...
- We really should just sell the grill...

"Babies any day now!"

Since the day was approaching quickly, Ana decided to preggo-swag on over to the Landgraab's house to determine the gender.

Once she learned Geoffrey wasn't home anyway, she just rubbed her belly and promised to love them anyway.
She proceeded home to get a good night's rest for the day ahead; she was already extremely tired.

But apparently sleep wasn't in the cards for Anastasia Marie Vanderbilt tonight, as she went into labor right in front of her door.

She waddled on into the nursery where Chloe was already freaking out.
Ashton was also crying, to add to the drama.
"I'm fine, Chloe." Ana said through gritted teeth. "Can you just take care of the baby?"
Chloe just nodded and did as she was told.

It took a while, but we were then presented with baby number 7, our first little patriot: Madison Vanderbilt.
She was named after the fourth president of the US, James Madison.

Ana put Madison in the nearest crib, but was still very obviously pregnant.

So, moments later, our little Madison was joined by a twin sister, whom Ana named Kennedy Vanderbilt.
She was named after the 35th president, John F. Kennedy.

Their father would be proud, right?

Ana then passed out from exhaustion.
Eh, she'll wake up eventually, right?

Again, Madison.
